No:153, 23 May 2017, Press Release Regarding the Participation of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ümit Yalçın in the International Conference on “Victims of Ethnic And Religious Violence in the Middle East” and Political Consultations with Spain

The international conference on “Victims of Ethnic and Religious Violence in the Middle East” will be held in Madrid on 24 May 2017.

Turkey will be represented in this conference by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ümit Yalçın.

During the conference, the steps taken so far and those to be taken with urgency in the context of the “Paris Action Plan” adopted in Paris on 8 September 2015 will be reviewed.

On the occasion of the conference, political consultations with Spain will be held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries under the chairmanship of Ambassador Ümit Yalçın, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador Jorge Toledo, the State Secretary for the European Union at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Spain.
