We have learned with great sorrow that according to initial reports, more than 60 people lost their lives and dozens were wounded as a result of the flood disaster which took place in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Kashmir and Gilgit -Baltistan regions in Pakistan.

We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the flood, convey our condolences and wish patience to their families. We also wish speedy recovery to the wounded and hope for a rapid normalization of lives of those affected by the flood disaster.

On this occasion, we express once again our strong feelings of solidarity with the friendly Government and brotherly people of Pakistan and our readiness to provide any assistance if needed.
